Hollywood, CA, United States (CNS) -
Four years later and reportedly now with a more sober mind, Irish heartthrob Colin Farrell admits that "Miami Vice," the 2006 movie he costarred with Jamie Foxx wasn't the best role choice of his career.
The "In Bruges" actor was quoted as saying, "I didn't like 'Miami Vice' so much. I thought it was style over substance and I accept a good bit of the responsibility."
Farrell, who has kicked the Hollywood drugs and alcohol lifestyle to the curb, now enjoys a more sober, quieter life away from the spotlight. Even with a stint in rehab, the actor says that he doesn't regret the decisions he made in the past.
According to MSN Malaysia, he says: "The ins and outs of what I've been through, even when it comes to rehab, is not a sad story."
"I had a great time and some amazing memories and lots of good stuff that I've forgotten."
Farrell, who welcomed a baby boy last October with girlfriend Alicja Bachleda, can next be seen on the big screen in Neil Jordan's "Ondine," which will be released in European cinemas this week.
